Is it hard to make Kombucha Tea?
Making Kombucha tea is easy and fun! If you can boil water and measure out a cup of sugar; then you can make a truly fine Kombucha tea that will have you glowing with pride as you serve it! The entire family will enjoy watching as a new baby mushroom develops and matures.

How many times can you use the starter culture?
Your culture is 100% guaranteed to arrive robust and viable allowing you to make pitcher after pitcher of the finest Kombucha tea available! The cost averaged over time means you’ll be enjoying the worlds best Kombucha tea for just pennies a pitcher. Commercial tea prices vary greatly, from $3 a bottle(16 oz.) in health food stores to over $10 a bottle online. Some of these teas are pasteurized killing all the probiotics, leaving few if any benefits. None of these will come close to matching your own fresh tea for cost, quality, taste, enjoyment, or effectiveness!

Is Kombucha tea safe?
I have never come across anyone who had a problem with the safety of Kombucha tea. There have been what appears to be erroneous reports that claim it caused acidosis in two people, investigation by interested people appears to show that the acidosis was in fact due to diabetic conditions not tea consumption (acidosis is a side effect of diabetes). My own experimentation (although limited) showed drinking the tea in recommended amounts actually had the opposite affect; it increased the body pH (more basic, healthier) as measured by saliva pH testing. As with any food item, sanitation is generally regarded as the key to a safe product. It is easy and only takes common sense; avoid contamination (wash your hands, dishes, etc.) and boil the water used in the tea are the main ingredients to safety! In addition the low pH of Kombucha tea acts as a preservative naturally adding to its safety!
